Well, here I sit at my computer trying to figure out what to write about in my latest blog and I have no idea what I want to write a blog about. It’s not that I am having a severe episode of writers block, because I am not. I am ready to write, I am willing to write, and I am able to write, the trouble me trying to make up my mind on a particular subject to write a blog on. This is a good news, bad news type situation. The good news, there are a lot of things I could write about, the start of football season, baseball, the rise of the Cubbies, the fall of the squaws, doooooh sorry folks, I meant the hapless Braves, politics, zoning (yes I said Zoning, I wasn’t dumb enough to vote to keep my mouth shut on the subject), the latest NASCAR feud, the WWE, Cheeseburgers, our crazy dog Missy, who thinks she is human, and acts like it sometimes, the list is nearly endless on things that I could write a blog on. I could spend an hour or so talking about all of these subjects and even more. The bad news is none of them are really jumping out at me and demanding that I spend some time writing about them. I just can’t make my mind up on what I want to write a blog on today.
You know, life is like that sometimes. You have plenty of stuff going on in your life, some good, some not so good, but none of them important enough to merit your complete attention. You just skirt around them, dealing with the problems when you have to, and enjoying the good stuff when it moves to the forefront of your life. You know, I think that our lives would be a lot less complicated if we dealt with the good and bad about the same way. Never get too excited when something real good happens, and never get too down when you hit a bump in the road. Just hang in there and just roll with the flow.
Well, I was stuck on trying to decide on a subject to write a blog on, but as I look at the computer screen I see that I have written a blog and didn’t realize that I was writing one. Oh well, I guess I will save all the ideas that I mentioned earlier for another day, and another blog!!!
